Sr. Pastor Phil Cruz

My name is Filiberto P. Cruz, however, I go by Phil. I am the Senior Pastor of City Gate Ministries Church, in Pueblo Colorado. I’ve been in the ministry for over thirty-five years, which twenty-five of those years I’ve been in a Pastoring role. I’ve been married to my wife Tina for thirty-eight years and together we have raised five children and we have six grandchildren. I teach Bible classes at our Bible institute school and I’ve been doing Christian Counseling for more than twenty-five years. I’ve served for 10 years on the executive council of International Council of Churches. I’m retired from Law Enforcement. I’m also a veteran, having served in the United States Army.

Pastor Joe Malasecca
Associate Pastor
My name is Joe Melasecca. I am the Associate Pastor of City Gate Ministries Church in Pueblo CO. I am married to my wife Jackie for twenty-two years and we are blessed to be serving Jesus together since 2004. I preach and help teach classes in our Bible school, the Academy of Biblical Truths and I keep in contact with our missionaries and church friends around the world. I have worked full time at Parkview Medical Center as a Security Automation Specialist for the past seventeen years. I also am a veteran, having served on submarines in the U.S. Navy.
Pastor Ivan Vela
Elder/Worship/Media
My name is Ivan Vela. I am an elder at City Gate Ministries Church in Pueblo Colorado. I have been apart of the church for 5 yrs with my wife Michelle and my 2 lovely children(Elijah and Priscilla). I am the Worship Director and Media Director for all weekly broadcasts. I help with teaching classes in the Academy of Biblical Truths as well as preach. I have been in the USAF for 16 yrs and currently serving as a Air Reserve Technician for the DOD.
Anthony Vigil

My name is Anthony Vigil. I am one of the elders at City Gate Ministries Church located here in Pueblo, Colorado. I grew up in church but lived a compromised Christianity; however, I rededicated my life to the Lord Jesus Christ 7 years ago. I’m thankful to God for my 13 years of marriage to my wife, Amanda. We are blessed with two daughters and a son, which we are raising with the truth of the Gospel. My desire is to continue to mature in Christ Jesus my Lord as I lead, feed and protect His people.

My name is Paul Cruz. I am an elder at City Gate Ministries Church and I’ve worked in the ministry for over 10 years. My wife Melissa and I have been married for 12+ years and we have two kids. We are both veterans and served in the United States Navy. My passion is for God’s people and to help further the growth and cultivation of their walk with God through mentoring and teaching.
